Life of a CAT Aspirant

“If You Are Working On Something That You Really Care About, You Don’t Have To Be Pushed. The Vision Pulls You” -
STEVE JOBS

From being one of the mediocre kids in school to dreaming to getting into one of the best B-schools in the country, each CAT Aspirant has its own unique story to tell , yet the stories are so similar.

The best part of the preparation phase is getting disciplined in life. That one kid who never woke up before 11 a.m. now wakes up at 6 a.m. and goes for a walk to maintain mental peace throughout the day. The teachers at the coaching institute play a very important role of creating a competitive yet calm environment in our minds and around us so that we are ready at the D-Day to give it our best shot.

Everyone has to more or less master the trinity subjects (i.e., Quantitative Aptitude , Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning, Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension). Increasing  the content knowledge and improving the problem solving skills is what it takes to get a great percentile. It is a very long journey to attain these goals and the serious aspirants work on it day and night because after converting one of the B-schools , when they will look back at all the hard work they have put in , it'll be all worth it.

Mocks season ensures that we don’t fall into a trap of illusions that we’ve done enough & are now well prepared and it helps us to realize that we still have a very long way to go without giving up.

The struggle, the competition and the performance anxiety comes along with the preparation free of cost and it haunts most of the students. However, there are challenges that go beyond scoring less in mocks. It can be the struggle of maintaining your mental health, challenges that you faced in your academic background and had to overcome or personal struggle you went through emotionally or economically or a loss of a closed one whilst you were preparing for one of the most important exams of your life, etc.

Your journey to your dream fighting against all odds and obstacles in your way.
